This is a brillant, heartbreaking story about the ties that bond and break between twin sisters, Eve & Kerry. Faced with tradegy and loss, they wind up alone at the age of 16. They do have a best friend since childhood, Justin and his family to look after them. In the beginnining of summer of their seventeenth birthday, a horrible set of events occur changing their lives forever. The twins do not see or speak to each other for 13 years. When circumstance brings them back together again, they struggle to find healing, forgiveness and love.

I've read many stories about siblings issues before, but none touched me like this book. I was quickly engrossed in the story and invested in each of the characters. I was unable to put this book down. You'll need to keep a box of tissues nearby while reading Pieces Of My Sister's Life.
