This book was interesting. It was recommended to me by a friend. I seemed to have a love/hate relationship with the story line. The twist and turns it took on faith and religion were awkward at times. I thought the death penalty theme was very intriguing and the ending was incredible. This was the first book I've read by Jodi Picoult.
