I really enjoyed it this book.
Gideon is part of a group that is developing an apartment complex. He is also the contractor of it. He is well liked, very much a "got it under control" kind of guy, single, and is good-lookin'. Chris, real cute with great legs (a perspective interior designer for the project), shows up on the site distracting the workers causing a delay in the work and has a run in with Gideon. Chris gets the job- but not with Gideon's help. In fact, he lets it be known that he is not looking forward to working with her. She is too out-spoken, opinionated, etc. The run-ins continue until realizing they are going to have to work close together a truce is called. Gideon ask Chris to lunch to smooth things over and it is at lunch that he realizes he really does like her. Now he has to persuade her to give it a try. Chris is interested but there is a part of her past that holds her back. And now, you the reader, must find out what that is. It really is a lot of fun with sweet humor to it at times.
