I really wanted to like this series. I read the first and thought it worth giving book two a try. I wish I hadn't. The premise behind this series is sound, but I just couldn't take the inane plot, the completely stupid and irrational actions of the main characters and the large number of editing errors in this book (anybody going to start ringing your hands? Or maybe you can add your own personal flare to your apartment?). Also, the way Sophie uses her fear of becoming her nephew's guardian as her main driving force behind wanting to help her sister really rubbed me the wrong way. I won't be reading any more of this series. It's just not for me.
