This is going to be an odd review because there were so many things I enjoyed about this book but there were things that really bothered me.

I loved that the book was kind of a tearjerking. The situations were very touch: Keegan having to redefine himself facing so many losts in his life, Molly facing the woman and infant son she unwittingly betrayed, Psyche who married a poor excuse for a husband but having a beautiful child as a result only to lose her fight to cancer 18 months later, and poor little Devon who knows her mother only sees her as a cash cow. I basically cried throughout the whole book and loved it.

Things I have a hard time with was the relationship between Molly and Keegan. They were so good together yet the way they got together was so contrived. Even their "Oh, I love you" moment was done poorly. And I have to feel bad for Keegan because the two major relationships in his life were with women who were so manipulative. No wonder he is so closed off. I came to actually hate Psyche for what she put Keegan and Molly through. As cruel as it sounds, I find myself glad that she was dying of cancer and wont' be raising Lucas.

Regardless of the things I disliked about the story, I still couldn't put the book down.
