I dont really get the negative reviews, I thought the book was pretty good.

Story one was Sizemore's and it was full of all kinds of dark creatures but focused around hellhouds(those cute little puppies) ;).

Story two was McCarthy's and a surprise. If you read her other vampire/demon stories than you will know these characters. This is Allistair's story which only surprised me in that I always thought he would have his own book rather than a short story.

Story three was from Green. If you have read her Vampire Babylon stories than you will be somewhat familiar with the twins. Good story!

The last was by Meljean Brook. This was a first for me from this author and it was my favorite! The story is about a women who was turned and now she is back and has to save a human child with the help of her old boyfriend.

My favorite thing about short stories like this is that I can be introduced to new authors in small doses. I really liked Brook and I will now look for more by her. Also, if you dont know these authors, dont worry about it, these stories all stand alone and can be read without knowing their other works.
