The set-up was very promising but at chapter 2 it was all down hill. This was not a pleasant read. The H(?) is a 30+ male whose continuous inner monologue is about his failure as a seven year old in not predicting / warning his parents that his months old sibling was going die of SIDS. ð³. The heroine is less annoying but equally as poorly written as, after years of bickering and avoidance, she suddenly decides to start propositioning him at every meeting. Considering her previous experience was limited to a useless teenage encounter, her sudden boldness was odd. Cutting to the end - HER leaves H, and after a weird, ridiculous, incomplete conversation with his mother, the H realizes he loves her...
