As I read each book in this series about Goldy Schultz, I grow more fond of the characters. In this book, Goldy's ex is suspected of killing his current girlfriend. For the sake of her son (who loves his father) Goldy tries to discover the truth. Her son does whine and complain a lot in this book and I am ready for him to "grow up" a little. Despite this, it is an exciting and fun read!
