I was especially touched by the descriptions of how women live(d) in Iran at the time. The freedoms we take for granted! There were also some great examples of fundamentalist thinking and mind sets.
Nafisi has also inspired me to re-read many of the classics that they discussed. I did tear out a page a while ago- the recommended reading list. If I can find it, I will e-mail it.
