Book Review of Johnny Carson

I rarely saw Mr. Carson as I arose early for work, although I will grant he was very well liked. This book is by his attorney and friend, discussing their 18 years together and my low rating is because I don't really like the Johnny Carson we meet here. It does have an index.
I read only the last chapter, the break up in 1988, and although Johnny Carson said Henry Bushkin was his best friend, it ended badly.
Bushkin says the Tonight Show was a cash cow and that Carson earned hundreds of thousands of dollars every week from salary, fees, and expenses. Thus he could buy whatever he wanted, lose money on some deals, and act like a prince. He is not loveable to me as a rich man.
I will mail out the book to fulfill one of the 13 wishes outstanding; I am sure other readers will like this well written book a lot.
