Only the second book by Hilderbrand I've read, it kept me interested throughout. As with her other novels set on Nantucket, this one would be a great summer beach read.
A foursome of family members ( 2 sisters, their mother, and an aunt) come together at the family vacation home for a month to help Chess heal following the breakup of her engagement quickly followed by her former fiance's death. The author weaves together the relationship histories of the ladies with their present day statuses to keep you wondering who will end up with a "happily ever after".
