I don't read a whole lot of Patricia Cornwell, but the few of the Scarpetta series that I have read have been completely awesome books. I'm very much in to the whole CSI thing, and Cornwell is very meticulous with her details in her stories. This particular book was really good. Though not for the faint of heart, if you enjoy fast paced, gory, white knuckle crime stories, this is an excellent choice. All in all a great book.
