In the name of religion would you order and arrange the murder of your brothers, your daughter, your best friends and your religious rival? Would you pass that legacy down to your sons and daughters so that even after your death they would arrange the murder of their siblings, mothers and friends? No - that would be my answer but not Ervil LeBaron.
The things this man and his family have done in the name of religion is almost mind boggling.
This book contains lots of background information on LeBaron and his religion but it is necessary to understand how and why he became who he was. The book was a slow read at first but it was also very hard to put down. Each new facet that I learned about his man and his family was spellbinding. The author did an excellent job of researching all the necessary elements of this family and their religion to hold my interest from start to finish.
