I had a really hard time getting into this book. It jumps from character to character and the three stories take a while to really seem to come together and feel like one big story. Each character wasn't as well developed as I would have liked--one book for each character would have given better development. It felt lacking putting them all together.
I contemplated giving up the book about 1/3 of the way through, but I just kept reading because I have a hard time giving up on a book. It ended better than it started, but it still didn't give me a happy feeling at the end. I just felt glad that the book was done.
