I love reading, but sometimes I wish I were a speed reader. This was one of those times. I could not read fast enough. I have not read a Karen Witemeyer book I did not really like and this one I loved.
The title really caught my attention. I thought the idea was unique. I doubt Silas would have been so obliging to present his daughter Jo with a preacher for her birthday had he known the reason why she wanted to talk to a preacher. I liked all the ranch hands and Jackson stole my heart.
Highly recommend.
