I wasn't going to read this book. It just didn't seem like my kind of book. However, I saw the preview for the movie and thought, "Well, now I've got to read the book."
This book is wonderful! Stockett does a wonderful job blending the voices together to create a cohesive story.
After I finished (a one day read) I gave it to my Mom. I am for sure going to be recommending this book to everyone I can.
