This a great detailed, true story about the capture of the Bataan and Corregidor soldiers by the Japanese who made life hell on earth for their American and Filipino prisoners. These poor souls in the prison camp were there for 3 years and the many American and filipino spies that sent life saving food and medicine to these poor souls. And the courageous rescue by American Rangers an elite rescue group of American Army soldiers. It was a God send how these poor souls were rescued. IN the prison camp the chaplains risked their lives for the prisoners of war. The Rangers were all volunteers who risked their lives to save the prisoners still alive after 3 years, January 1945. This book so interested me that I could not put it down. The details are striking. This book and author area 10+++++.

The Japanese prison camps were such hell that the Japanese killed 27 of 100 prisoners through various means while the Germans comparatively killed 4 of 100. When people do not believe in God in my opinion they have no value for human lives.
