This is a great book for women interested in politics. It will give you some insight into women on the political forefront. Aside from that it is a heartfelt account of a woman's desire for happiness and love turned into utter humiliation and despair. The sad part of this book is that once women are set in their ways of having the perfect life to outside viewers, the rug gets pulled out from under them and they have to face the ugly truth. That truth is that no marriage is perfect, even if they try to make it so. Ms. Matos McGreevey was a great inspiration and source of knowledge to me. I loved this scandal from the beginning. As a staunch republican I was not a fan of James McGreevey, former NJ governor. I really thought this a crazy and wild story when it broke, but once I realized how many people were betrayed and hurt by this man it opened up a floodgate for me to want to fight corruption in politics. This really is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it to all readers, especially female ones.
