I am biased because I am the new owner of a pug. Having said so, let me express that the pug as metaphor for happiness, unconditional friendship and general foolish lightheartedness is lovely. Just lovely. I enjoyed this novel very much. It's a quick read, full of humorous and touching moments. Like a hug from a friend, look for it when you need a smile and a reminder that good times are around the corner.
