I have never read any of Kelleys books and am a dog and mystery fan. I really liked this writer..he had you wondering who done it and I loved his quirky sense of humor and knowledge of dogs. He is in real life a dog traniner. Also he has some history in the book and it was nice to find a good book with black people in the main roles ..VERY GOOD BOOK
