It was, yet again, an enjoyable read from the author. Despite the 378 pages in the (paperback) book, the story is only 273. The last third are snippets of additional books by Fern Michaels. While I'm not complaining, and I understand the marketing aspect, it ended the book a whole lot quicker than I expected.
Nonetheless, the girls got their man in typical form. If you've followed the series this far, you are attached to the characters and seeing the interaction and support when a back is to the wall gives you a feel-good feeling to last a few days. This book is definitely deepening the characters, making them edge a little more into our lives.
It's not my favorite, but it's certainly a keeper. :)
