This story was very enjoyable and a very fast read. The characters are very appealing and pull you into the story. I love Lilys character, she is so strong. She has been through a lot and has practically been on her own since she was a teenager. She wants nothing more than to provide a better home for her son than she had growing up.

Nicos character can be demanding and bossy when he is in the crown prince mode but when he is alone with Lily and Danny he is a totally different person. Lily sees him as a man not a Prince, like everyone else does.

The story is a typical Harlequin Presents with a happy ending but Lily and Nico have to work to reach their happily ever after. Both have been hurt too many times and neither is willing to reveal their true feelings. Nico makes some poor decisions along the way and decides to give Lily the ultimate gift, her freedom. In the end, in true Fairytale style, the Prince rides in to rescue his Princess.

This was a great sophomore book by Lynn Raye Harris and I give it 3 ½ Flaming Hearts
