This is a well researched book that juxtaposes the history of the Church of the Latter Day Saints and its founder Joseph Smith, with the insanity of the modern day polygamous cult of the FLDS which is an off shoot of Mormonism.
Very brutal. Revealing. I'll never look at Mormonism the same way now knowing some of its history now.
As always Krakauer does a stellar job with this book in terms of research, history and current events.
