- I was *very* disappointed in this book!

- Ophelia & Cordelia are twin sisters and typical opposites: Ophelia rushes head on into things and *&$# the consequences while Cordelia is the responsible one and left to clean up Ophelia's messes.

- They run off to London so Ophelia can fulfill her life long dream and ambition to perform on the stage. Two ladies mind you, with no money, no escort, and no plan beyond getting off the coach.

- Needless to say Ophelia came across as very selfish to me. I didn't feel the story was believable at all. The girls are attacked at one point and even that is not enough to give Ophelia a wake-up call.

- When Ophelia *finally* has her moment of "going on stage" she has stage fright, freaks out, and again leaves Cordelia to clean up her mess. Cordelia fills in for her not only on opening night but every night there after while Ophelia just 'ho-hums' along with not even a sincere "sorry."

- The characters were just lukewarm to me and the relationships very under-developed. One minute they meet and speak over breakfast and dinner a couple times, and the next thing you know they're in love. Only you have no idea how they got there.

- Way below Ms. Byrd's typical good read. Then again...someone else might think so.
