First and foremost, gotta' say that I like the ending. I'm sure many people will say afterward how sappy it was, but it solved many problems.

This novel started with a bang by way of murder. No, that is not giving away too much since these are vampires, shape-shifters, and other supes to deal with here. It is naturally the foundation for the storyline and continues straight through to the end with the cluviel dor as more of a side story. In fact, it becomes such a side thought that I almost forgot to mention it!

Can't say too much else without Spoilers...but here are tidbits to go on: We get a complete picture of both Claude and Dermot. Sookie has another supe ready to stab her in the back and can't honestly remember if there were signs before this storyline. Our suspicions are answered about Sam.

Oh yea...and the question about Eric (and Quinn) is obviously left open to carry us into the next novel.
