Ex-con Holly Ryan was released from prison and handed a job. She is posing as a U.S. Senator's pampered daughter who is sailing solo around the world. Holly just has to live on her boat and make occasional appearances in ports, and the Senator will give her money to start a new life. What she doesn't plan on is getting kidnapped by pirates. Rafe Angelito is being blackmailed. A group from his past has his nine-year-old son. They will kill him if he doesn't abduct the Senator's daughter for them. Now Rafe finds himself trapped on a deserted island with the wrong woman, hoping that the killers who have his son will not back out of the deal.

This is Brynn Kelly's debut novel and I found it very entertaining. It has an island with a hot, sticky jungle and lots of poisonous snakes and spiders (my nightmare), and a hot guy that keeps apologizing for kidnapping Holly. There was a lot of action and a good dose of romance. My only problem was near the end when the villain took pages and pages to explain his actions. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
