Oh My! Have you ever said something and thought "Ooops, I shouldn't have said that!"? Have you ever said something you regret? Or typed something? Then this book is for you! Karen Ehman delves into our words and discusses when and what should be said and when it is better to say nothing at all. "Keep it Shut" is so good because she uses real life examples to show us what happens when we say something that we shouldn't. Karen doesn't lash out at you for being bad, but shows us that we all make these mistakes and how to avoid them in the future.

She also gives good godly advice straight from scripture to back up the things she says. But again, she is not pointing fingers, but just offers help for those of us living in this non-perfect world. Karen even brings these scriptures into the "modern" world calling them Proverb "tweets". Plus, she addresses not just our verbal words, but those that we fling out into cyberspace. I am amazed at what people will type in response to others on social media and Karen writes about great things to do before typing those words - specifically pray!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who talks - and isn't that everyone?! Even if you don't think you have a problem with this area, I bet you can find some wisdom within these pages.
