Excellent writing as always by Nevada Barr, but more consistently violent than the earlier books in this series. Anna goes under cover in Yosemite after four young park employees disappear. I generally don't like descriptive writing, but Barr does a masterful job of giving us the feel for the natural features of the national park with a light hand.
