I read this book in one sitting. It is in diary form. The book perfectly shows the thoughts and feelings of a 14 year old girl and she falls in love for the first time.

When my daughter gets a bit older (she's 11), I think I will have her read this. It shows that anything can happen to anyone.

Nancy made some poor choices, but they are the same poor choices that teenages everywhere are making. Her choices had tragic consequences. The book is aptly named, as I think most teenagers think "It won't happen to me." But it CAN.

I was left with many questions at the end and would have like to see more written in the epilogue.
