I watched the movie before I read this book. I'm glad I did because as I was reading I could picture scenes more clearly. It is true that the movie left out scenes from the book, but also the movie added things and switched some things around. I couldn't tell you which I liked more. I am just mushing it all into the same story.
This is an amazing love story. It has great writing, and it really draws you in. I read the book in four days - but only because I made myself put it down at times. Otherwise I could have been up all night reading it.
If you haven't seen the movie than I would suggest you watch it before you read the book. I think you could be dissapointed at the movie if you read the book first. I am not going to wait to read the other books though. I am going to start "New Moon" this weekend. I just can't wait for the movie, that would drive me crazy. I have to know where this story is going!
