When Gordon Nash's wife walks away from their marriage and their 4 year old son, Gordon is left to raise his son on his own. This is the story of the trials of a single father. The trials and errors of just "workin it all out" the best he can. It's sad, funny and down to earth. Gordon is likeable and works hard to help his son adjust and be happy. Enter the mother again. What a holy mess!! It's a story well written. I liked the book-- it was a good read.
