I have read each and every one of the books in this series. Most of them I have enjoyed, some more than others. This book falls somewhere in between. The mystery was easily solved and there were a couple situations not related to the mystery that you could predict what would happen a mile away. A lot of the book revolved around the MC and her group of friends, what they were doing, how the group evolved. I just have a couple issues with the book that truly annoy me. It seems every other page Kelly, the MC is either drinking, in search of, or thinking about coffee. Hot coffee, iced coffee. I think we could give the coffee a rest. The same with Fat Tire Ale (which Kelly drinks when she isn't drinking coffee, along with her friends.) The other thing is that she over introduces some of the characters. For instance Burt and Mimi run the Lambspun Yarn store where a lot of the action takes place. Burt is a retired detective and is introduced as either that or as Kelly's "mentor" or both several times in the book. Once would be enough. We know who Burt is.

There is a nice surprise at the end, however, and it will be interesting to see how that develops over the next book or two.
