I love ancient Egypt and have read many books about this subject. This is the absolute best book I've read so far! It contains so much valuable information about the history, religion and people of ancient Egypt. It has color photos on almost every page which are captivating! There is a detailed analysis of each tomb and/or temple area which details when it was explored and what was found and the significance of the find with photos. This would be a great Christmas gift for a college Egyptology student!
