WOW-- I am always so humbled when i read about the Holocaust-- I remember at my Pop-Pops funeral all of the men and women who were teens and younger had their numbers tatooed on them--
This is the story: (From the back) From 1933-1945 Hitler set out to take over Europe. By the end of this time he had killed 6,000,000 (nop I wish it was a typo)
Yet in the midst of it there were good human beings (non Jews who helped to save Jews all over the world. Miep and her husband (hid Anne Frank and her family for over 2 yrs) and was the one to rescue her diary--Oskar Schindler and his wife rescued more than 1,200 Jews
Ansd so on-- A remarkable book-touching haunting and makes you realize the true human "spirit"
