This would make a great unit in history, especially for homeschoolers. The chapters break this Middle Age European history into easily absorbed bites. This book is full of illustrations and fascinating details. After each chapter, included activities check for comprehension and retention.

These booklets are so engaging that I am searching for more. They encapsulate history in interesting ways. They give the "big picture" and essential facts. I learned so much from the simple diagrams and explanations of the evolution of castles in Europe.
