This was my favorite book towards the end of elementary school. Zinny feels invisible in her own life, until one day she finds a path in her backyard that changes her summer and her life forever. This book deals with a number of adolescent issues, namely death and the guilt associated with it, but is the best book about becoming a young-adult somebody that I have ever read.
