Maddy is a award winning TV anchorwoman and jack is the head of her network. Everyone things theirs is a storybook marriage. However behind closed door Jack is always putting down Maddy, is a control freak and very jealous. He puts her down with daggers of fear, humiliation and isolation as powerful as a gun or fists. She lives in fear and degradations; however Maddy secrets and are kept even from herself for a long time. Finally she joins the First Ladys Commission on Violence Again Women. After a period time she realizes what is happening to her and she finally finds the strength to move forward and change her life forever.
