Grace was first introduced in Constance/Gordon's story as the camp whore. Like with Fiona's story, Maxwell tweeks Grace's character a little bit to make her less harden and sort of glimpses over Grace's past. I wished Maxwell didn't do that and had just kept Grace's character as it was.

However if I was to read this book on its own without the others, both Grace and Richard were interesting characters. I liked the fact that Richard was the inexperienced one instead of Grace. It was also wonderful that they actually talked things out. I'm not sure how kosher it is to give a Scottish lady an Irish ring though.

The plot itself was intriguing and kept me reading. Overall good easy read if you read it as a stand-a-lone.
