A nicely written blend of historical fiction and a romance story--no cheese, though! A richly imagined mistress for Richard III who is a modern-ish type woman, perfect for this quiet and thoughtful king. She attends to historical detail quite well and fills in the gaps very plausibly. A lovely read.
