I'm glad I read the reviews here first; otherwise I would have been so disappointed in this entry to the series. I liked the heroine, even if she was a bit of a dunderhead; the hero was too weak, and the story was a mess--it consisted mainly of the heroine refusing to marry the man she's in love with and the hero bullheadedly saying he doesn't ever want to marry because he was embarrassed years ago when his first fiance stood him up at the altar.
