As a practicing Buddhist, I was a bit ho-hum when I approached this book. The questions are sometimes rather inane, but the author is very deft about offering up wisdom from the Buddha that is more universal than a direct answer to the particular question. I also found some quotes of the Buddha I had not seen anywhere else; they are excellent pearls of wisdom hat I carry around in my head every day (and that I've copied in my journal so I can remember all of them them after the book is gone).

Sometimes, just to cut myself a break, I ask, "What would the Buddha advise me to do?" We can all aspire to be Buddhas, but in the modern world especially, I think the bar is pretty high.
