I'm pleased to say this was less sappy/sad than I was afraid of. :-) I liked the fact that each of the stories was based on a real life program that is in existence and all three stories are involved in the programs at some level. An quick read with The Yellow Ribbon and Hanging By A Thread as more enjoyable/entertaining for me. Homecoming Season was also enjoyable but more geared towards bringing a family back together again after the mother gets a clean bill of health.
