Kerouac, for me, is beyond critique. He's more there for awe, wonder, inspiration, study, learning and epiphany. I don't think there's any "bad" Kerouac. As the cliche has it, "it's all good." I'm still pouring over this one as one sometimes has to peel back the layers to get to the root of Kerouac's gist. That being said, however, this is intense and revelatory and certainly "among" Jack's best (for me). Highly, highly recommended.
