Another wonderful book by Cassie Edwards. Zoe is a beautiful tomboy who takes her father's place as sheriff. Of course there are men who think she should be in the kitchen. She was engaged to a colonel but was entranced by White Shadow. White Shadow was a mighty Kiowa chief. Whenever one of his braves was arrested for drunkenness and thrown in jail White Shadow would come to bail them out. When White Shadow would show up Zoe would forget all about her fiance and could only dream of being in White Shadow's arms. All of a sudden her fiance is missing. The townsfolk want her removed from the sheriffs position and she can no longer hide her affection for the outlawed Indian. Savage Heat is the perfect name for this hot book.
