For a book that purports to demolish the myth of the gamer stereotype, this how-to guide only succeeds in furthering the stereotype of the vapid, vacuous female. From the beginning, "I am a girly girl", to the end, "All a woman really needs to be happy in life is a new pair of shoes", this commercial endeavor (the book really is just an infomercial) never considers that not all women are driven by greed and gossip.

Wizards of the Coast could have used this as an opportunity to reach out to potential customers with a mature and entertaining book about girls and gaming, instead they succumbed to pop culture; the women portrayed within could have come off the set of Beverly Hills 90210.
