A sometimes unbelievable exposure of atrocities suffered by German-speaking peoples at the end of World War II. Two to three million Germans perished by casual violence (often on a par with SS and Gestapo atrocities), from cold and hunger. Some of the victims were even those who fought the Nazis from within Germany, often ending up in German concentration camps themselves.
