Kingfisher really knows how to put that tingle in my spine, that curdle in my blood, that pound in my pulse and I love it. The ideas that come into her head is exactly what creeps me out. Cosmic horror may not be for everyone but it is definitely what chills my bones.
Melissa's estranged grandmother has died and as a favor to her ailing father, she is off to clean up the old home in a chance that it will sell. Supplied by her wit and her goofy bloodhound, Bongo, she sets off on this unenthusiastic adventure. Once there, she finds that she may be in for more than she bargained. It looks like her grandmother was a hoarder and she has a lot of work to do to tackle this issue. It is not long before a disturbing journal is found and creepy events start happening. With the help of some spirited neighbors, she sets off on a journey of horrors.
