This is a fantastic book. Sadie is a special needs high school teacher and a beautiful young single woman. She agrees to go to a bid on a date auction. She has business reasons for wanting a date with Andrew Knight. She wins a date with Andrew for an evening, but what a great evening! Andrew is 37, a great catch, but he is not nibbling because early in his life he lost his whole family due to death. He is a workaholic and is not interested in dating, he works around the clock. He is the youngest vice-president in his firm and he is aiming to president of the firm in a year. He is very honest with Sadie. She for her own personal reasons for not wanting a relationship.
Andrew and Sadie become very good friends, but both make it clear that is all they want. Andrew has a life pattern od setting goals for the next 5 years and achieving them. when he goes to an amusement park for three days it's 100% work related.
Andrew and Sadie both have to consider their futures. Do they choose to be alone or together? Interestingly it's both. This is a well written book.
Great gift or for you.
