Great follow up to the first book, Adriane is a great main character. This is a captivating mystery that is just as compelling and interesting as the first. It also stands well alone if you havent read the first book. This one was easier to read than the first if you were offended by the torturing and murder of children in the first book, this one is a completely different mystery.
