I am a huge fan of JP's writing. I read 1 - 8 of his Women's Murder Club and anxiously awaiting number 9 next month.

This book was missing something. I put this book down at page 100 and something to read 3 other books before coming back to it. It's not that it was awful or a waste of my time but something about the storyline I felt was lacking. There was a twist to the ending but nothing that made me gasp or shed a tear. I loved his Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas and Sam's Letters to Jennifer but this one fell short. Overall I gave it a 3 star. Maybe it's the person he co-wrote it with. Gabrielle Charbonnet writes a lot of children and young reader books. It's an okay book but not great for sure.
